Clarity Grade
Clarity refers to the purity of a diamond and is determined according to the presence, or absence, of tiny impurities or blemishes on the surface or within a diamond. These imperfections are also known as inclusions. Clarity grades range from Flawless (FL) to Included 3. We generally deal with VVS (very very slightly included) and VS (very slightly included).

Color Grade
MOH’s color-grading scale for diamonds is the industry standard. The scale begins with the letter D, representing colorless, and continues with increasing presence of color to the letter Z, or light yellow or brown. Each letter grade has a clearly defined range of color appearance.

Cut Grade
The result was the MOH’s Cut Grading System, which evaluates the cut quality of a round brilliant diamond along a five-point scale ranging from Excellent to Poor. A MOH cut grade evaluates: How the diamond appears when viewed face-up based on the attributes of brightness, fire and scintillation.

Carat Grade
To put it simply, diamond carat weight measures how much a diamond weighs. A metric “carat” is defined as 200 milligrams. Each carat is subdivided into 100 ‘points. ‘ This allows very precise measurements to the hundredth decimal place.
